Developmental Teams
Our developmental teams are the perfect stepping stone into the Allstar cheer world, giving athletes the chance to experience the excitement of the competition environment in a noncompetitive, low-cost program. Designed for beginners, these teams focus on building strong fundamentals in cheer, stunting, and basic tumbling while fostering confidence, teamwork, and lasting friendships—preparing athletes for future Allstar or school cheer opportunities.

2025-2026 Teams
Tinyz
Tinyz is the perfect first step into the world of cheer for younger athletes. This non-competitive show team focuses on building fundamental cheer skills in a fun, team-based environment. Athletes will learn a full routine and practice basic tumbling each week. No experience needed—just spirit and a smile!
Ages 4–8 (As of Sept. 1, 2025)
1.5-hour weekly practice (45 min cheer / 45 min tumbling)
10-month season (August–May)
Performs at our end-of-season Cheerz Premier
Affordable uniform: approx. $200 — used for both practice and performance
Tuition: $150/month
Sparkle - Mini Novice
Sparkle is our Mini Novice team designed for grade school athletes ready to take the next step into the competitive cheer world. Athletes will learn a full routine including stunts, jumps, tumbling, and dance, and compete at events for an evaluation rating of Outstanding, Excellent, or Superior. Sparkle is a great start to prepare for future Elite Allstar teams.
Ages: 6–9 (birth years: 2016-2019)
Required Skills: front roll, back roll, standing backbend
1 year of Tinyz is recommended
10-month season: August – May
Practice 2x per week (1 hour each)
Competes in 2 local competitions (Lafayette & Gonzales) & end-of-season Cheerz Showcase
Uniform: $200
Additional costs: Practice wear, shoes, and bow
Tuition: $200/month (includes tuition, comp fees, choreography, and music)
Aqua - Youth Novice
Aqua is a great opportunity for youth-aged beginners who want to experience the excitement of competitive cheer in a fun, encouraging environment—no experience required! Aqua athletes will master a full routine with stunts, jumps, tumbling, and dance, and compete at events for an evaluation rating of Outstanding, Excellent, or Superior. Aqua is the perfect stepping stone for those interested in joining an Elite Allstar team in the future.
Ages: 10–15 (birth years: 2010-2015)
10-month season: August – May
Practice 2x per week (1 hour each)
Competes in 2 local competitions (Lafayette & Gonzales) & end-of-season Cheerz Showcase
