Team Placements

*Placements are a relaxed evaluation of an athlete's skills in order to place them on the appropriate level team where they can excel and have a positive experience. Athletes will be asked to show the skills listed on the below teams in standing tumbling, running tumbling, and jumps. Athletes trying out for a flyer position must attend flyer tryouts on the Sunday after placements. Flyers will be asked to show body positions along with different skills on a stunt group. Athletes should register in the appropriate age level of mini, youth, or junior/senior placements. If your athlete cannot make the scheduled placement date, please register for a private tryout instead of placements. We will contact you to schedule. Once placements have occurred team meetings will be scheduled.

*Intersession tumbling is a short session of tumbling twice a week leading directly into placements. It is designed to help athletes prepare their skills for team placements on June 5. Highly recommended for those who want to get into the gym to develop their skills to ensure the best possible placement. Intersession is also great for new athletes attending placements for the first time who want to get a feel for the gym culture as well as work with our coaches. When registering please be mindful of prerequisite skills for classes to ensure correct placements. All prerequisite skills will be checked on first day of class.
